Samsung Heavy Industries Nigeria Limited has said that the Egina FPSO project was awarded to it alone by Total Upstream Nigeria, and was never at any time jointly awarded to it (Samsung) and any other organisation.The firm, in a letter made available to our correspondent, maintained that there was in place, a valid and subsisting contract between it and Total, as far as the Egina FPSO project was concerned.
