I’M BEING PERSECUTED FOR STEPPING ON BIG TOES IN OIL INDUSTRY – DIEZANI

Petroleum Resources Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, on Wednesday said she was being persecuted for stepping on big toes while ridding the petroleum sector of corruption.

 

She equally declared that she had not sought for assistance from anywhere to protect her name as reported in some dailies, because she has not been indicted for committing any crime

ENI CEO NEVER CONSIDERED RESIGNING OVER MALABU OIL DEAL

The Chief Executive Officer of Italy’s Eni, Claudio Descalzi, has never considered offering his resignation following his involvement in a Nigerian corruption probe being carried out by Milan prosecutors, the chairwoman of the oil major said Wednesday.

“The idea never existed,” Emma Marcegaglia said in reply to the question if Descalzi had offered his resignation.
