OIL FIRMS BEGIN JOB CUTS

Oil companies have begun downsizing in a process that will see them sacrificing many of their non-technical staff.

The International Oil Companies (IOCs) such as Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Total and EniSPA and their local counterparts have over 10, 000 non-technical staff in their services that may be affected in the restructuring of their operations.
