NUPENG CALLS FOR STAKEHOLDERS’ SUMMIT TO STOP OIL THEFT

The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) on Sunday called for a stakeholders summit comprising of ship owners, DAPPMAN, Police, Army, Navy, NNPC, DSS, DPR, Civil Defense Corps, NUPENG and PENGASSAN to fashion out a new strategy to end oil theft and pipelines vandalisation.
 
NUPENG’s President, Comrade (Dr.) Igwe Achese , who made the call during a courtesy call on the chief of Army Staff, Lt – General Tukur Buratai in Abuja, stressed the needs for stakeholders’ involvement on ways to minimizing oil theft in the country.
